Get the party season started

Turn some heads this Christmas with a striking headpiece.
Great colours, violet and lime green will definitely make a statement.
Tartan trim adds that Scottish flavour and V. Westwood signature.
You could say just add a black dress and killer heels.
So if you are heading for the party season, grab a slice of

Peach bloom felt

Peach bloom felt is very very soft and used for high quality hat making. These two cocktail hats have been hand pleated and sewn to create soft sculptured design.
I also used two small cut pieces for a trim on a pinstripe trilby.
All very 1940's don't you think.?

It's in the BAG

This hand knitted alpaca wool bag was washed on a hot wash, which made it considerably smaller than before.
I added roses and a snap twist lock.
The straps are cut and sewn from embossed velvet.Very decadent don't you think.?
Fairly time heavy to make but the finised item is very pleasing.
Not too pricey £58.

A busy weekend

Well Sunday night already after a busy busy weekend I am catching up on all my little jobs.
Clare Lupino modeled some of my hats for various needs, website etsy etc and Ursula Holden Gill
popped in to see Clare wearing a necklace Clare made.We teamed it with one of my vintage hats which I am starting to hire and she looked fab.
It is still raining so as well as orders next week has to include a few funky rain hats and one of them has to have MY name on it.
