Each piece of silk is first stiffened and when dry cut out into the
petal shape you require. You then need to create a centre for your
flower with a bead or something that can be wired. Then you can start to
wrap your petals around the wire and curl them into shape. Light navy veiling was sewn to the navy fine straw button and the pansies anchored it to the hat.
A small silk clutch bag in a deep pink was made to compliment the flowers. Really pretty.!
